Tên bài báo The effectiveness of using story-telling activities to improve the second year non- English majors’ speaking skill at Thai Nguyen University of Education 
Tóm tắt This research focuses on investigating the effectiveness of using storytelling activities in teaching speaking skill for the second-year Non- English students at Thai Nguyen University of Education (TUE). The instruments of the data collection were questionnaires, test and observation. Based on the results, it is clear that most of the teachers used story-telling activities to teach speaking, however, they did not know how to use them in an effective way although some of their students were excited about the storytelling activities. Also, most of the students did not show their willingness to learn speaking through the storytelling activities because the teachers did not find ways to get them involved. The researchers would give some possible suggestions to improve the quality of learning and teaching Speaking through the storytelling activities. Hopefully, this study would be helpful for students and teachers at TUE.
